While getting my masters in teaching, I wanted to pay homage to the greatest woman teachers and art teachers that have influenced my approach to social justice in my own career in teaching. This image reflects the portraits of Pauline Boty (top left), Corita Kent (middle left), and Savitribai Phule in the center. The image of the children in Phule's arms is a reference to Kathe Kollwitz' 1933 "Mother with Child".
